Job description
This is a fully remote opportunity for a California licensed Employment Attorney. You will manage all aspects of employment law litigation, including assisting with case strategy, conducting written and oral discovery, research, and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs. You will be expected to meet 1,600 billable hours annually and may be required to travel to clients. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical coverage, paid time off, telecommuting, and a 401(k) retirement plan with profit sharing. Lindsy Pyette was born & raised in Great Falls, Montana. After graduating high school, she attended Arizona State University. Lindsy kept traveling west and ended up in Irvine, California for graduate school. While in law school Lindsy started clerking at a workers’ compensation defense firm. What Lindsy found most valuable from her time was when she got the opportunity to shift from a legal focus to an operational lens while working directly under the office manager. This experience developed her leadership skills and teaching skills even further. Lindsy absolutely loves working with people and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a previous athlete and sorority president, she has learned to work with people from all walks of life and effectively communicate while remembering to actively listen. After earning her Juris Doctorate and finishing her clerkship, Lindsy is excited to move into a different area in her legal career, one where she’s able to recruit top candidates for her clients. Most of Lindsy’s spare time is dedicated to the alternative rock band she manages, as well as countless hours writing her debut screenplay. You can also find Lindsy at the beach playing catch with her puppy.
