Job description


Mission Recruiting is a direct-hire recruiting firm working in the healthcare, legal, and executive industries. We are based in California, 100% remote, and serve clients nationwide.


We are hiring an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to contact and screen candidates to determine if they meet the criteria for successful placement with a healthcare client. The Recruiter is expected to successfully fill positions by matching candidates to clients, thoroughly following through the process from prospecting to placement.

The Healthcare Recruiter will be required to do the following:

  • Speak with a high number of candidates each day as well as quickly evaluate candidate qualifications as they pertain to the available jobs we represent.
  • Heavy Physician recruiting
  • Call, email, and screen candidates, logging each activity as it occurs.
  • Provide candidates with job descriptions, follow the process for presentation of candidates to clients, schedule interviews, and place follow-up calls or emails.
  • Continuously work and communicate with both clients and candidates daily.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings.

  • We have a robust CRM with over 300,000 contacts, a structured workflow, and all the templates you need for speedy communication.
  • We have reasonable metrics and train on our philosophy for why those metrics are important.
  • We have weekly training on our process, the industry, our systems, closing, prospecting, connecting, and more.
  • We offer a nice balance of guidance and autonomy.


Note: Recruiters with direct-hire experience tend to work out best for us. People from high-volume staffing backgrounds tend to not do as well here. HR folks that are used to a variety of roles including recruiting tend to not do well here, either. We’re all in on recruiting and we don’t do much else. We don’t do staffing or temp-to-perm roles: just direct hire recruiting.

What you will need:

  • Previous healthcare recruiting experience.
  • Desire to work full-time (no part-time requests please).
  • Professional attitude.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • A solid computer - Chromebooks don't count.
  • A strong internet connection - preferably wired with at least 50 Mbps.
  • Multiple monitors - you'll need at least two monitors.
  • A good headset (a USB, double-ear headset with a noise-canceling microphone).
