who is passionate about helping clients while working efficiently in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will provide immigration, naturalization and citizenship advice by conducting legal research; keeping clients and staff abreast of changing regulations; providing explanations of immigration and naturalization and citizenship requirements; obtaining and retaining immigration and naturalization clients by following up on referrals; understanding immigration and naturalization laws; presenting legal options; and maintaining rapport. Experience in criminal defense is preferred. The desire to make appearances at all master calendars and merits hearings is required. Should have the ability to: manage a large Immigration Court and USCIS caseload; appear at adjustment of status and citizenship interviews; and write motions to reopen and appeals with AAO, EOIR, BIA and write I601A waivers and other inadmissibility waivers. California State Bar admission is essential. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are required.

The candidate must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited school. Should be familiar with Westlaw and other legal search engines as well as proficiency in legal research. Excellent written and oral skills are a must. Must have meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Should demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure and seek direction from the managing attorney, if needed. Must be reliable with a positive attitude and enjoy working with people. Access to a working vehicle and the ability to drive throughout the Los Angeles Area is a must. They are open to recent law school graduates with a hunger to learn and thrive. Compensation is commensurate to experience.
