Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Tax Associate to join our team in Modesto, CA. This role presents an exciting opportunity for career advancement within a supportive and dynamic work culture, offering competitive compensation, including generous quarterly bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on a broad spectrum of tax-related matters, encompassing federal, state, and local tax issues.
• Aid clients in tax planning and compliance, including structuring transactions to minimize tax liabilities.
• Represent clients in tax audits, disputes, and litigation with tax authorities.
• Conduct legal research and offer strategic counsel on complex tax issues.
• Draft legal documents such as tax opinions, memoranda, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal services. Stay abreast of developments in tax laws and regulations.
• Contribute to firm growth by cultivating and sustaining client relationships.

Qualifications:

•  J.D. from an accredited law school, with an LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
•  Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
•  4-5 years of experience in tax law, preferably within a law firm setting.
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
•  Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet  deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•  Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
•  Dedication to delivering exceptional client service.

•  Compensation Range - $120,000.00 - $180,000.00
