We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our vibrant Trusts & Estates team in El Segundo, California. This position offers an opportunity to work on sophisticated matters for a sophisticated clientele in the media and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a complex caseload involving trusts, estates, and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals in the media and entertainment industry.
• Draft and review sophisticated estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Advise clients on tax implications of estate planning strategies.
• Oversee the work of junior associates and paralegals.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with partners on client matters and business development.
• Maintain a minimum billable hour requirement of 1,800 hours per year.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility for admission).
• 6+ years of experience in Trusts & Estates law, with a focus on complex planning for high-net-worth individuals.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws impacting estate planning.
• Experience working with clients in the media and entertainment industry is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.

Benefits:
