We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our growingTrusts & Estates team. This virtual position is ideal for an attorney residing inOrange County, California, who can meet with clients in person when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Conduct client interviews to understand their needs and goals.
- Assist with estate and trust administration, including asset identification, valuation, and distribution.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex estate planning and trust administration issues.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on client matters.
- Maintain a minimum billable hour requirement of 1,800 hours per year.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California Bar (or eligibility for admission).
- 3-5 years of experience in Trusts & Estates law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must reside in Orange County, CA.
Benefits:
- $105,000 - $155,000 Base salary
