Position Overview:

Our all-star lineup of attorneys is scouting for a talented Legal Secretary to join the roster and help keep the team at the top of their game. This role is crucial to ensuring our legal operations run smoothly, from the first pitch to the final out. You’ll be the MVP who keeps the bases loaded with the right documents and information, enabling our attorneys to knock each case out of the park.

In this position, you will assist our attorneys in preparing for the big cases, managing crucial documents, and ensuring every play is executed flawlessly. This is your chance to be in the legal big leagues, supporting a team that values hard work, precision, and the drive to win.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play-by-Play Preparation: Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories; file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures
  • Roster Management: Maintain and organize case files, calendars, and deadlines, ensuring no important dates are missed.
  • Pitch Perfect Communication: Serve as a point of contact between clients, attorneys, and court officials; Interview clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements.
  • Team Support: Prepares, organizes, stores, and retrieves case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
  • On-Deck Duties: Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years experience as a Legal Secretary or supporting litigation role.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office and legal case management software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic.

Compensation:

  • Up to $75,000
